    Community Initiatives

    Caring For Our Community

One of the key mandates given to us – the Church – is to offer hope for humanity. Many of the great humanitarian organisations within the world – World Vision, The Red Cross, The Salvation Army, Compassion International – to name a few, found their beginnings in the Vision of the Church.

Motivated by key values, like Matthew 25:35 “For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home.”

    Life Care

The vision of Life Care is to assist in the relief of poverty on the Sunshine Coast.

Life Care is our Community Care program that reaches the disadvantaged and homeless in our local community whilst also providing a number of other services from its primary premises at 125 Sugar Road.

Life Care’s primary function is running an Op Shop, which provides clothing, emergency food hampers, and other household items. The team at Life Care can also point visitors to further services.
